This month, we thought we’d continue the learning spree and share some of the top podcasts that we think every marketer should listen to (for all you auditory learners out there!).
Podcasts are awesome because, unlike books and online courses, you can listen to them while on the go or doing something else, like driving, running, or doing laundry.
So with the following podcasts, you can get better at marketing while driving, running, doing laundry…How great is that?!
Gary Vaynerchuk is an entrepreneur and founder of VaynerMedia, known for his marketing expertise and business success. His podcast, The GaryVee Audio Experience, is made up of a mix of #AskGaryVee show episodes (his old podcast); keynote speeches on marketing and business; tidbits from his video series; and interviews with celebrities. The podcasts range from under a minute to over two hours (most fall somewhere in between).
Donald Miller is the founder of StoryBrand, a company that helps businesses to refine their messaging strategy. He is also the author of the book, Building a StoryBrand: Clarify Your Message so Customers Will Listen. (In case you’re interested, we published a summary of the key points of that book in this blog post.)
On his podcast, Miller hosts and interviews an array of influential people, like Seth Godin, Michael Hyatt, Daniel Pink and Charles Duhigg, who share their advice on productivity, leadership, branding, teamwork, entrepreneurship, and more.

Speaking of DigitalMarketer…here’s another great podcast for you that started recently, in June 2018. On this weekly show, the hosts, Garrett Holmes and Jenna Snavely, interview various influential people in the marketing world, who provide their advice on everything from optimizing Facebook ads to finding your true calling.
Want just a quick daily listen? Marketing School is a daily, 10-minute show, where marketing gurus, Neil Patel and Eric Siu, share their two cents on marketing. Brought to you by NPR, this podcast is one of my personal favorites. The host of the show, Guy Raz, spends each episode interviewing the founder of a successful, innovative company. Previous guests include the founders of Drybar, Wikipedia, Warby Parker and Airbnb.
Even if you don’t want to start your own business, the show has useful insights on product development that should be useful for your marketing strategy.
Each week on Copyblogger FM, the host, Sonia Simone, and a different marketing expert talk content marketing, email marketing, copywriting, conversion optimization, mindset, and more.
